| What we are against, in detail: |
|
Big Business: In being against big business, we mean that we are against hurtful monopolies. A great example of this type of hurtful monopoly is the Tucker Car Company incident. Here, Tucker wanted to make and send out his own car. The big three (Ford, Chrysler, and GM) didn't like the idea of competition, so the did everything in their power to get the lease of his building revoked, and numerous other things, to ensure the Tucker car never made it into the market. Only 50 were made. Big business won, and small business and the American public suffered. Foreign Investment: Mainly, we wish for American businesses to focus on employing Americans. This does NOT mean that we don't want for our businesses to have satellite operations, plants, et cetera in other countries, BUT that we don't want for American companies to go to foreign countries and hire foreign workers INSTEAD of Americans. Abortion/Euthanasia: We are against the ideas behind abortion and euthanasia. With abortion, we believe that it is killing a life, and therefore unacceptable. When there is a rape involved, the child can be adopted off. (We believe some type of program for this should be instated) When the unborn child complicates the mother's life, THEN we believe that the choice of abortion should be available (though again, there should be some type of program/system for this). With Euthanasia, we believe that people should be allowed to die (i.e. live a natural life and die a natural death). Even so, we believe that people should NOT be able to use euthanasia as a tool for suicide. This also should have a program/system to go thru to determine the intentions of a person, and if they are skewed. The Death Penalty: First off, we don't believe anyone has the right to take the life of another. Secondly, death is the "easy" way out of a crime. Thirdly, the death penalty is more expensive than life in prison (in which the criminal gets the chance to reflect on his/her wrong doing). Corrupt/Deceiving Politicians: Politicians are voted into office for one reason: to serve YOU, the American Citizen. Their main focus should be on bettering the country and the world, not their financial interests, or political seniority. Also, politicians need to allow our freedoms to remain. Just because something isn't considered pleasant or moral, doesn't make it illegal (as in violating others rights). Because of this, violent video games, adult material, useless websites, and so on should NOT be outlawed (that in itself violates many rights of the American People!). So, politicians should keep their mindset towards helping YOU! Gun Control: No, we don't like the idea of some crazed maniac being able to get a hold of an AK-47, BUT guns should be allowed. Security checks? Sure, please. Banning guns? No! We believe that guns should be allowed (as it states in the Bill of Rights). If guns are outlawed, only the government and criminals will have them, and the citizens of America become totally helpless. Wasteful Spending: We all know that governments can and do spend more than they need to, in order to run our country and states. Many of our politicians are driving paid for luxury cars, spending their time in offices with chairs that cost more than most computers, and luxurious desks and expensive paintings, while TOO many of our citizens are starving! Straight Ticked Voting: Simply put, we DON'T want people to just vote Republican, Democrat, Independent, or whatever. We should vote for the PERSON and NOT the party. Affirmative Action: Affirmative Action (AA) was developed with good intentions. Even so, it isn't doing anything to promote equality anymore. It MUST be eliminated or greatly edited. As it stands, people can get a job because they are a minority. This takes the emphasis off of equality, and creates minority tyranny. All equally qualified applicants should have an equal chance REGARDLESS OF RACE OR SEX! |
